The Academic Technology Administrators Conference (ATAC), sponsored by CLAMP, will be held June 25-26, 2018, at Lafayette College in Easton, PA. The conference immediately precedes the CLAMP 2018 Summer Moodle Hack/Doc Fest, which will also be held at Lafayette.
About the Conference
ATAC is devoted to a broad array of topics applicable to those working across the spectrum of information technology, web and backend development, and systems administration.
Many “academic technology” conferences are geared primarily towards end users such as students and faculty. Those of us in IT administration, however, typically have different questions, challenges, or goals related to designing, implementing, and supporting the academic technology ecosystem, and ATAC is designed to be an event that meets those needs.
We anticipate covering several broad areas, including:
- learning and content management systems
- ePortfolios
- accessibility
- competencies and assessment
- streaming media
- badges and credentialing
- enterprise data integrations, and more
